50 cent has lost 54 pounds

Rap superstar 50 Cent has lost a staggering 54 pounds in just nine weeks for a film role.

The hip-hop star went on a liquid-only diet and worked out for three hours a day to achieve the staggering weight loss, reported Daily Mail online.

A gaunt-looking 50 Cent shows off the effects of his weight loss in a photo on his official website.
He is due to play a cancer-stricken American football player in a forthcoming film and wanted to look authentic for the part.

In the past 50 cent has made much of his muscular body, often appearing topless in videos and showing off his huge frame.

The 34-year-old is starring and co-producing Things Fall Apart, which will also feature Ray Liotta and is directed by Mario van Peebles.

Soon after the dramatic weight loss pictures were posted on his website, 50cent.com, rumours swept the Internet they were a hoax.

But in a statement the star, real name Curtis Jackson, confirmed the pictures were authentic.

"I was starving but I've been eating. I'll be back in shape in no time," said the rapper.

In addition, 50 Cent had the tattoos on his arms removed in preparation for his acting career."I took'em off. I've been on a few acting projects and they been making me get up My call time is four hours before the regular acting talent because of the tattoos," he said.

But 50 Cent's achievement still does not top that of Christian Bale, who lost 63lbs for his role in the dark mystery film The Machinist.

Bale went from 185lbs to 122lbs to look like he 'had not slept for a year' and did it by cutting out most foods and relentlessly exercising.

Inntel hotel in zaandam design like stacked house

The newly opened Inntel Hotel, in the Dutch town of Zaandam is now the main eye-catcher of the town center, due to its bizarre design, resembling a number of stacked houses.

Inntel Hotel is the brainchild of Dutch designer, Wilfried van Winden. Many of us see hotels as temporary homes, so he tried to emphasize this idea by designing it to look like a bunch of traditional Zaan houses, stacked over each other. The result of his vision is both unique and familar, and definitely stunning.
One can identify almost 70 houses in the design of Inntel Hotel, most of them green and one blue, right at the top.

Child marriages in india

Many girls in India get married when they are still kids. Children marriages are banned in this country, but they still happen. Government survey in 2006 reported that 45 % of Indian girls were married being younger than 18 years old. Local police raids child marriage ceremonies when it gets a chance because young girls who are forced to marry boys or old men are often at risk of violence and sexual abuse. Inside this post you can find photos of child brides taken by Reuters’ photographers.

Chinese woman embroids with her feet

Looking at her embroidered art, you’d probably think this woman has golden hands, when in fact, she has no hands at all.
Gao Baoying has learned to use her feet to do everything we usually do with our hands. I don’t know if she was born without hands, or if she lost them in some freak accident, but one thing is for sure, this woman is a true artist.
Gao, who lives in China’s Tianjin municipality, began practicing embroidery with her feet, when she was just a teenager. As time passed, her skills improved, and now she creates the most beautiful embroidery. As recognition of her skills, Gao Baoying was invited to showcase her work, at the Shanghai Expo.

Womens wins bra untying contest

Now what can be more embarrassing, for a bunch of dudes, than to lose a bra untying contest to a member of the weaker sex? I’m sure she did have more practice than most of the male contestants, but still, humiliating.
During a promotional event, organized by a Chinese department store, in Gungzhou city, China, contestants were invited to test their bra untying skills. In order to win, participants had to untie the bras of eight models, in the shortest time possible, using only one hand. All the male show-offs, eager to prove their skills, were humiliated by a woman, who managed to untie all eight bras in just 21 seconds.
For her impressive achievement, the lady won 1,000 yuan ($146,5) and infinite satisfaction.
